Madame Suzelle Poole has been dancing since the age of 7.

Today, more than seven decades later, Madame Poole continues to inspire, teaching classes for children in Dallas, Texas.

Madame Poole’s story has gone viral since she was featured on the BBC. The 3 minute piece has been viewed over 29 MILLION times on Facebook alone (see below), with over 600,000 shares and a true legion of admirers all around the world.

In this interview we ask Madame Suzelle Poole about her diet, the support of her late husband, the power of teachers, her beliefs around ageing and what she’s learnt travelling the world, and so much more.

Madame Poole also recites two of her favourite poems from her collection of works featured in her book Rodosto.
