We all know that today’s lifestyle is often at odds with the past. And this is even more obvious when it comes to our sleep patterns. Our ancestors followed a more natural daily cycle where they rose with the sun and went to bed at sundown. When we follow a similar pattern, we are in alignment with specific hormonal changes in our body that are responsible for putting us to sleep and waking with energy and alertness.
