Show Notes

Our values (the things we think are most important) will always create how we see the world and how we think our children should be raised. And while we’re in an infatuation phase, our parenting decisions feel the most aligned and ‘right’. But what happens when that void has been filled, that karma has been fulfilled, and we’ve moved on to a new value? This is when decisions we thought were ‘perfect’ can begin to feel like a cage.

In this episode, we discuss how to see it and what to do about it.

We explore:
– where you have anxiety and what you’re making it mean
– creating breathing space and holding yourself through tension
– projecting your wounds and values onto your child
– creating more freedom in your life right now
– whether what you’re about to do or say to your child, has more to do with you, than them
– negotiating screen time with your children as they grow and develop
– Not allowing struggle, and the cage that creates
– Always allowing emotions, and the cage that creates
– Putting your intimate relationship at the bottom of the list and the cage that creates
