My husband Sam Larkings joins me on this episode to talk through living with Cerebral Palsy. Sam has lived with Cerebral Palsy since birth and has made it his mission to function well and thrive with this condition.
Sam talks through what Cerebral Palsy is, how it presents and what it does to the body. His condition has inspired him to become an Exercise Physiologist, treating clients with movement as medicine. Sam is also a certified Personal Trainer and has played Soccer for the Australian Paralympic team.
Cerebral Palsy affects Sam in different ways as he describes, but he has been able to manage it well with movement, and teaches this in his work.
