This Week In Wellness economists from the Johns Hopkins Institute for Applied Economics have conducted a meta-analysis of the impact of Covid-19 lockdowns on mortality and concluded that they had “little to no effect” on saving lives.
Their analysis of the data concluded that lockdowns across Europe and the USA had “reduced COVID-19 mortality by 0.2% on average” with some of the studies actually showing an increased mortality.
