Captain Christmas, also known as Damo, didn’t have the Christmas Day he expected.

And after some self-labelled “stinking thinking”, Damo shared his experiences and the importance of mental “flexibility” for when things don’t go to plan.

On episode 510 of 100 Not Out we talk about dealing with the unexpected, both in the short and long term, the difference between acute experiences and chronic conditions, and the way to navigate our days and lives when the unexpected comes our way.

It feels prophetic – hopefully not too much – but perhaps this episode needs to be kept in a safe place for when challenge comes our way.
