Show Notes

Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night needing to eat? What about waking up after sleep walking to the fridge? Night Eating Syndrome is classified as an eating disorder characterised by suppressed morning appetite but increased in the evening, consuming more than 25% of your calories after your evening meal and is often associated with insomnia. This condition is very different to simply intermittent fasting or time restricted eating, it’s a maladaptive stress and metabolic response with imbalances of the hormones related to appetite and hunger. In this episode of Wellness Women Radio Dr Ashleigh and Dr Andrea dive into Night Eating Syndrome and the best, holistic solutions for change.
